Today Lisk had their meet-up in Berlin where it was expected they would unveil their new plan and most importantly, their rebranding. Unfortunately, not only was their presentation lackluster, the only news that we got about the rebranding was at the end. Stating that it was being pushed back to Feb. 2018. Although their technology and vision does seem to connect with many people, this news was disastrous. So much so that the price dropped from an all-time high of $10.70 USD all the way down to $8.00 USD after the news. This can only mean that people were expecting heavy returns from the rebranding and when they found out it wasn't happening, they pulled out.
There is much speculation as of right now as to what will happen with Lisk. Will it continue to fall? Will it go back up? Is the lowering of price simply those who were riding the wave fleeing for their lives? And most importantly, will Lisk recover?
I personally feel that this platform has a future and expect it to bring great things! Those who believe in Lisk will continue to hold, and those that don't well... you can already see. All I can say is Lisk needs to rebrand already and work on their presentations.
