Yup, I understand your concern, especially since the recent BitConnect exit. Something that eased my concerns before getting into Lisk was researching the team behind it. I would recommend you research the team behind Lisk as well. They're a solid team and are providing a ton of value to the crypto community.
Also, something to note about this is that I don't see this "Get Rich Quick" scheme, but rather something that builds slowly over time, just like a stock dividend. If I thought this was like one of those schemes, I definitely wouldn't have created this video.
Don't get me wrong, there's definitely a risk getting involved with Lisk, but after researching the management team, team vision, and goals I personally see a future.
Also (and I probably should have mentioned this in the video), this process is also known as "Proof of Stake" (Lisk), rather than "Proof of Work" (Bitcoin). There's a lot of debates about which system is better. Also, I believe Ethereum is looking towards moving to Proof of Stake.
Hope that helps!
