A room just for us. Within ourselves, where we can stay, to breathe, to rest and to dispel thoughts. This is the beauty of contemplation.
Why start something and then leave it halfway? We decide to stand by themselves and at the last moment change mind: go shopping, or disco. And those conversations with friends! But we have no time to breathe. We run all day, kids, school, kindergarten, the new home work, work schedules and overtime hours, etc., etc.
Meditation is a practice that brings a form of energy. Doctors and psychologists from Harvard Medical School analyze the problem for about 35 years and conclude that meditation stimulates the production of nitrogen oxide suspending the adrenalin activity (caused by stress hormone that makes it possible to increase the beat heart when we are in a situation beyond control).
There have been various tests with people who meditate and non-meditative. It is seen that not only those who meditate may be released from anger. Such a practice could bring some biophysical changes that can endure over time.
