However, if the patient has been diagnosed with LES, and hopes to maintain the quality of life as normal as life, then do the following:

  • Avoid excessive physical activity
  • Avoid smoking
  • Avoid climate change as it affects the inflammatory process
  • Avoid physical stress and trauma
  • Special diet according to the organ affected by LES
  • Avoid direct exposure to sunlight (at 10:00 to 15:00)
  • Use closed clothing and sirir tabar at least SPF 30PA ++
  • Avoid UV lamp exposure
  • Avoid using contraceptives or drugs containing estrogen
  • Control regularly to the doctor
  • Drinking medicine regularly

LES itself has not been cured yet, but by following a much healthier lifestyle, prevention can reduce symptoms, prevent organ damage, and increase survival
