To figure out what I wanted to do, at least for now, is I did what I know best, I gathered information and compiled it into sections. Now everyone is different and I'm positive that no one technique will work for everyone, however trying them all is how you will find your path.

1.Start by looking to your past.

No one is certain of what their future holds, however everyone is certain of where they've been and what they enjoy. I thoroughly enjoy political analysis, which most people find completely boring. Find a common theme, what you did, where were you and what did you learn from that, especially previous work experience. Let these ideas be a compass into which direction you should flow. Look at the topics you like discussing with people, especially people you don't know, that way you know it's something youre interested in as you always want to put your best foot forward with strangers.

2.Note what is actually meaningful to you

I always look at these and at potential jobs in four categories : legacy, mastery, freedom and culture alignment.

Now legacy and mastery are the body and physical work put in and taken out from the job. Your legacy you want to leave behind at that specific company and industry. What skills you want to master and achieve through the experience, this also helps if you're thinking of doing something creative instead of the usual business in an office shit.

3.Find a "board of Directors"

This one you'll need the help of your friends and family. I got a group of people that I trusted in different areas, every time I have an idea I ask one and then the rest have to decide if its a viable idea too, this has grown and now we all collaborate with ideas constantly. You create your own personal think tank.

4.SAVE SAVE SAVE

This one is obviously hard when youre trying to start something or when you dont earn an income in the first place. Start by cutting out the unnecessary things from your life, takeout, alcohol, drugs, wives(lol). It all adds up

5.Take time for yourself.

You are the most important person in all of this, when you take time to properly reflect, think of all the things you couldve done better or didnt try at all, when you reflect it allows you too be critical of yourself and focus on the things you enjoy in life.
