Our Cabin Adventure: The Crew

in #life7 years ago

As promised, here is our cabin crew update!

Of course, an appology for my abscence is in line first. We've been very busy this past week and a half, and making another blog post may have been on my want list, but not the need list.
Finally fellow steemians: The post.

In my last cabin post, I told you about the base and of what will be our glorious getaway in the wilderness.

Conveniently less than a mile away from civilization.

First up in the crew introduction is the second eldest in our group. He is extremely smart, and very mechanically minded. God gifted him greatly with that. He's similar to Tony Stark in the aspect that he could can create something out of basically anything. He brings reality to the group by reminding everyone else that no, a two story house with windows, isn't realistic. . matthewsteem.png

Next is my very own sister who is the eldest in the group. At 20 years old, she outdoes Cousin #1 by a whopping month and two days. Affectionatly goes by "Plut", and is level-headed as well as wise. She brings sustainability to the group by keeping the cabin in mind throughout every move we make, ensuring its life-span is a long one.

Now for Cousin #3. Where is Cousin #2? You may ask. She was away with a church group this particular day, but maybe I will add her in a future post.
Cousin #3 is 16 and very easy going with good input in our decisions. He brings stability to the group by making sure everyone is still doing something, while knowing how to have a good time.

Next is my brother. He will be 16 soon, following Cousin #3 by 3 months and seven days. He is a hard-worker, and once you get him going, he'll work the day away. He brings efficiency to the group by consistently getting the job done, and getting everyone material before we have to ask for it.

Now for Cousin #4. The youngest of the group, and our personal cheerleader. While she may be too little to really haul logs, dig trenches, or use axes, hatchets, and chainsaws, she spends her time foraging for wild leeks, and planning the future interior design of the cabin. She brings some extra excitment to the group through talking about the cabin's future, and sharing her ideas.

Lastly, me: I bring creativity to the group by bringing in some outside the box ideas and suggestions.

slightly creepy picture of me, but hey, we were kind of trying to get back to working

Thanks so much for reading about the crew. Enjoy your lives!

Cheers!

I'm not sure if it's my internet connection, or if your picture file size is too big, but the pictures aren't loading very fast. In fact, they are loading slower than molasses in January.

Yeah, they are pretty large.. I meant to size then down before I posted, but totally forgot to. It's on my to do list today 🙄

What a great way to spend time together building a cabin you will all use.
A great introduction of the Adventure Crew.
We just followed to follow your adventures.
Keep Steeming!
