It makes it less vivid, less detailed

And what if we felt the same pain for years?
Thank god that time makes it fainter everyday, time makes everything go back into the back of our heads.
It doesn't make us forget, It doesn't heal us too.
It just makes it less vivid, less detailed.
Pain gets chronic, it doesn't hurt as much unless something reminds you of it.

A very beautiful painting you got there @yosra...
Its definitely the truth that pain is never meant to stay. No matter how hurtful it gets, pain vanishes although the scars usually tend to stay back.
Now the whole thing I believe depends on what we decide to do with the scars...
Do we let them decide our future for us?
Do we sit and moan over the past?
Do we learn from our hurt and keep moving?
I don't believe that the things we experience are meant to kill or destroy us. Maybe we were supposed to learn from them.
Remember, every thing happens for a reason.

well said! @j-stark
Of course every thing happens for a reason so we should learn from our hurt and keep moving.

But does everything happen for a reason? Things happen and there are reactions to that.

It is true that every action has a reaction, but there are acts that are reactions to old actions that have been embedded in our memories and these are the reasons for our actions.

But to say everything happens for a reason is a different argument. That would suggest everything is predetermined which destroys your old actions argument. It's an interesting topic that can drive you in circles.

Nice one @kevkong, you got me there...
Its true though that if we say everything happens for a reason it sounds as though everything is predetermined (religiously). Scientifically then?
Logically? Definitely we would just keep going round in circles...
