“The little things?
The little moments?
They aren’t little.”
~ Jon Kabat-Zinn
Slow down. Breathe.
There is more to life than going faster.
Culturally, we have been educated that if you are slow in any way, it means that you are weak or even stupid. At school, we were taught that if you are the first to finish, that you were the best and smartest in the class.
This pursuit of fastest has created a competitiveness in our culture and a twisted belief that going faster and doing things faster means you are somehow better.
What madness this has created.
While going fast in physical pursuits may display some physical pro-ess, it does not carry across to all the dimensions of life.
Faster does not mean better.
Faster does not mean stronger.
Faster does not mean smarter.
Slow down. Breathe.
Taking your time, slowing things down and being patient with yourself and others, may actually be a sign of enhanced intelligence and increased self-awareness.

Did you what people called a person in inda who is eveytime in hurry and fast pace?
No idea. What are they called @buzztalks?
Slowing down is also healthy. Scientific evidence suggests that stress can increase the risk of various diseases. Slowing down, especially in nature, can help preventing the risk of diseases such as cardiovascular disease and possibly depression. So, slowing down should be done more often. Cheers!
Yes, thanks for that. Slowing down is good for your health :)
I enjoyed being reminded of this today, and being affirmed - having a bit of a slow day, and feeling better for it! :) Grateful for your input into my world today.
Glad to hear it @artmislives. Yeah, I'm having a slow one today also. Amazing how much pressure we put on ourselves to do it ALL and HURRY UP about it ;)
haha.... Yup. We are sometimes truly awful to ourselves.

Love this so much. We live such fast paced lives. Funny how on holidays all we have done is yin yoga over vinyasa... really needed it.. to drop into stillness, slowing down.
Here starts the problem in my opinion. You need a lot of self-confidence to stand over it.
