When you confront problems, what would you do? Think things through, or avoid thinking by jumping to conclusions.

What's the difference? What are the results by acting the two ways respectively?

People who think things through usually have the particular character below.

  1. They wouldn't speak their points carelessly. If they don't have an idea of it, they would say "I don't know."
  2. When encountering some problem, they would have a simple understanding about it by looking for some relevant information, next they would communicate with other people and absorb many different views. After that, they would get a relatively comprehensive idea.
  3. They like reading. They care about what they learned instead how much they read.
  4. They are calm and don't rush to show their views.

People who avoid thinking by jumping to conclusions show a type of tendency to a certain extent below.

  1. They often present their points without carefully thinking and easily give a arbitrary judgement.
  2. They communicate less with other people and they often confine themselves to limited knowledge. When discussing about one problem with other people, they usually can not give a convincing explanation.
  3. They read less and often don't have a deep understanding about one topic or subject. Even tough they're reading, what they care about is how long they would take to finish it.
  4. They are not patient and easily exhibit against different opinions.

Over time, The former would have had a critical thinking and the later would have developed a superficial understanding. Most important, people's quality of life usually result from their thinking mode in a great extent. So what would you do?
