Hello everyone.
Last week I spend some beautifully moments with my friends in a trip on Ceahlău mountain. I would like to share some of the with you, but before I start let me to tell you about Ceahlău Massif.
The Ceahlău Massif is one of the most famous mountains of Romania. It is part of the Bistriţa Mountains range of the Eastern Carpathians division, in Neamţ County, in the Moldavia region. The two most important peaks are Toaca (1904 m altitude) and Ocolaşul Mare (1907 m altitude). It is bounded to the east by the Bistriţa River and Lake Bicaz, to the south by the Bicaz River. From the south, the main access point is the village of Izvorul Muntelui, located 12 km north from the town of Bicaz. To the north, Mount Ceahlău is also accessible from Durău.
So we started the trip from Durău which is a ski resort with four or five hotels. It's a third time when me and my friends, Vlad and Ciprian, climb up to mountain. With us was our sisters.
We continued to climb up until we found a place where we can see far, to Izvorul Muntelui Lake and Bicaz.
My little sister was impressed by so many wonderful landscapes! We went up the stairs to the Toaca peak (1904m). I like to name "The stairs to the heaven".
There are so many flowers to admire. The most know is Edelweiss which is protected because is very rare. We are lucky to see one of them. (first photo) Besides flowers there are fruits such as blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, cherries. We ate a lot of blueberries.
The trip story isn't done. Tell me if you liked and you want to continue.
Bye Bye.
