Hey What's Up!
Today I want to talk about two interesting characters.
Both are very charismatic in their own way. So it might be a hard decision to choose among the two.
So without further ado, let me introduce you to Mr. Pessimist.
He is usually unhappy about most of the things in his life. Whenever you go to him, he'll speak of one problem or another, and if he doesn't find anything to complain about, he'll turn to others and focus on what is bad about them or in their lives.
For Mr. Pessimist, his life revolves around his problems and those of others, not from the perspective of trying to solve them, but just because it has become his way of life.
For him, misery is a way of life and he takes pleasure in his and other people's pain.
Now allow me to introduce you to Ms. Optimist.
She comes across as a lovely, cheerful person, who has seen life closely.
She has struggled, has taken the hard knocks of life, yet has a smile on her face and doesn't like to make too much fuss about anything.
In spite of having her share of struggles, she doesn't focus all her time and energy on her problems, she instead focuses on her own creative talents, and shines through whatever she does.
Most people think that her life is free of problems, but the reality is that she is no stranger to troubles, it's just that she understands that life is no bowl of cherries, and that everybody has been given their share of challenges -- only to learn and grow from them.
Ms. Optimist's life continues to become better, and she is able to attract more good people, opportunities, and abundance in her life.
In fact, her mere existence has a strong influence on others and helps them improve the quality of their lives. Having her around is nothing but a treat, since she is so full of compassion and is always willing to help and encourage others.
Who do you think people will prefer to be around more?
Ms. Optimist? Well, that's what I thought initially, but the truth is, birds of the same feather flock together.
Mr. Pessimist will enjoy as much company, or even more, from the group of people who are just like him.
The moral of the story? Just by choosing the right company, you can have a lot of peace in your life.
And negativity has a tendency to attract masses, and make them sink in its dark hole.
Stay safe, choose the right company -- whether it is in life, or here on Steemit, and stay focused on what you'd like to accomplish.
Who would I choose? It's a no brainer, I'd go with Ms. Optimist, I love my life, and I don't really like making much fuss about anything.
I love to keep things simple.
How about you?
Cheers,
- Victor Rosel
