You have me laughing and at the same time posting a great point and a good message. I almost fell off my chair when I read about the circle jerk, dick whales. I hope good behavior prevails, but there will always be that mentality that is purely self-serving. In the meantime there are people like you and lots of them, that brighten the horizon for Steemit. That's very kind! I want to believe that working hard is enough on here, but it can be very frustrating. So many producers are woefully under appreciated. The whales can keep upvoting each other, and that's their prerogative, but ultimately if everyone starts making an exodus from Steemit, the platform will collapse, and Steem won't be worth anything. All of the other branches of Steem (dtube, dsound, etc) are all dependent on Steemit users. If Steemit goes down, they all do. I think many of the whales realize this and do their best to promote good content, but there are far too many that don't.
