I never thought my backyard could be something to blog about... but here it is! (By the way, that's not me ^^^)
On this bright and glorious day, I stepped outside at 11:30 am, in my Mickey Mouse PJ shorts, a tank top, no shoes (and only one sock) to take pictures of my backyard.
It was so bright that I couldn't see a damn thing on the screen. But I went ahead and snapped a few photos anyway, aiming wherever and then picking the better ones to post here (I hope my neighbors don't see this).
So let's begin viewing them, shall we?
This here is my balcony. It needs a paint job and that tree is a little under the weather, but believe it or not, I'd rather be here than in a $95 million penthouse in NY. I absolutely love this place (as well as my two "pelargonium citrosum" plants, in the bottom left corner...
or I think that's what they're called?)
This angle is not too bad. In case you're wondering how that bench part broke, it cracked when one of the guys who disassembled our swimming pool sat there. He tumbled backwards, but fortunately wasn't hurt (and his buddies had a good laugh).
It was fun having a pool. Today is 25 °C and my neighbors still have theirs. I'm peeking through the fence, wondering if I should climb over it and go for a dip. But nah, I can't; I have more pictures to take!
Next, I'd like to show you the tomato plants that my (almost) 88 y.o. dad planted...
But wait, there's more!
How many are there in total? The answer is...
(drum roll, please)
30!
My dad is a serial tomato planter (he even planted 6 at his brother's house).
And last but not least... behold the lettuce!
"That's all Folks!" :)
