REGRET OF A TWIN SISTER!

Claura and Laura where identical twin sisters whom were put to birth the same day.Claura was 10minutes older than Laura.Their parents had suffered,drank concoctions upon concoctions, to see through their having their own babies. They visited hospitals upon hospitals. At a point they became discouraged and left it to chance.

When it seems that all their hopes and aspirations were no longer forth coming, God surprised them with beautiful bouncing babies, girl namely Claura and laura.Their joy new no bounds.These little girls were loved by any eye seeing them.Gift offerings were showered upon them.

There were so identical that you hardly spot the difference between them.The only difference was that Claura is a little bit playful and jovial more that Laura.They grew up together,loved each other with passion.One would think that even the Devil cannot separate them.They went to the same primary,secondary and tertiary school together.

Claura was the first to be noticed by a man called Alex.Alex was a guy of 27 years of age while the identical sisters, where in their early twenties.Alex saw that this sisters were always tied to each others apron.They became good friends, Alex became very fond of Claura,probably because of her jovial nature but most times mistook Laura to Claudia.

There was this fateful day he mistakingly hug Laura,made an attempt to plant a kiss on her lips but she waved him off with the shove of her hand.He quickly understood, render an apology and ran away.Laura got home,told her sister claura and they both laughed over it.Alex had developed a sincere and undiluted feelings and love for Claura,and she in return,reciprocated same.

A very silly and dangerous idea came into the mind and heart of Claura. An idea she called game but unknowingly to her,that was the beginning of her many many problems.She suggested to her sister Laura to pretend to be her(Claura). She encouraged her to try her best to micmick her in all she does.she even went ahead to tell Laura to present herself before Alex,pretending to be her Claura.But Laura,vehemently debunked that her nasty ideas.They engulfed themselves in a heated argument and a sharp bust of an anger, that comminuted into quarrels and resentments. They did not talk,eat nor sleep together as they usually do.

Laura could not bear it no more,she then decided to warm up to her sister.All attempt she made to talk to her sister claura,to see reasons why she should refrain from such an up seen jesting and unholy act of conduct, yielded no fruitful result so she decided to consent to her sister's plight all because of the love they shared.Claura was highly elated.So she tutored and lecture Laura on how to woo Alex.

Laura learnt and master the act claura thought her very cleverly and fast.Alex thinking it was the same Claura, was basking in the euphoria of his newly found love.He took care and pampered Laura very well.She was always at his beck and call.They were always seen everywhere together. To even make their matter very interesting,Claura travelled out of town,leaving them the opportunity to exploit themselves.

Initially Laura who could not comprehend her sister's interet in this well planned out game,was seeing it as an act or fun.She never allowed Alex touch nor cuddle her and he respected her wishes.She later started noticing some good qualities and traits in Alex.How he respects her opinion on issues. He never allowed her to do chores without him assisting her.

There was this day she came visiting Alex,after spending quite some good time with Alex,she decided to leave.just as she was making her way to the door,heavy thunder and lighting started blasting as if it wants to bring down the roof of the building.So came the heavy down pour.The rain poured and poured, refusing to abate.it poured into the night,while Laura and Alex were seated in the sitting room,gisting God knows what.Suddenly Laura started dosing, before you could know it,sleep envoleped her.Alex seeing this, carefully carried her from the couch like a mother carrying her newly delivered baby,took her to his bed room and carefully lay her down. He switched off the room light and laid beside her.

The chirping sound of the birds woke her up, only to see Alex lying beside her.She immediately jumped up checked her self but to her chagrin, everything about her was intact.She tapped at Alex waking him up to his consciousness. He got up yawned and say good morning to Laura.She flashed him a beaming smile,got up from the bed,rushed to the bathroom. She came out from the bathroom, to see a cup of warm coffee presented to her by Alex.She thanked him from the bottom of her heart,drank it.After drinking the coffee,she got up hugged Alex and left.

She got home feeling refreshed but her mind refused to go off Alex.She has falling head over heels in love with Alex.She cursed, blamed her sister Claura,for putting her through this condition.
Alex on his part is madly in love with the young woman,without a slightest knowledge that the lady he had falling in love with is not his Claura but her sister Laura.

Two days after,he invited Laura for an outing in one of the best eatery in town and Laura obliged him the invitation.They got talking. Out from the blues,Alex bought out a gold ring ornament,proposed to Laura,and Laura who was already melting,accepted the proposal. He knelt down in respect to his Queen,and wore her the engagement ring.Laura was highly elated, despite the fact that her heart was somehow judging her because Alex was supposed to be her sister's man and not her,but this time she cannot help it.She is already intensely in love with Alex after all it was all her sister's fault.

From the eatery, they set their eyes towards Alex home, and made the best uses of their legs.They got home,but to their amazement, the original Claura,was there waiting to be welcome in a warm embrace.Laura was taking unawares.Alex who was ignorant of their game was too happy to see the assumed Laura, unknowingly to him,that she is the original Claura.In that elation,he told her that he just engaged to her sister, and she accepted.

Claura was bulldozed with shock.she gave way to hot tears.Alex was shocked too and surprised.initially, he thought it was a tear of joy, maybe owning to the fact her twin sister has been engaged.But when he noticed that the both sisters were sobbing uncontrollably, he then enquire to know if there was something more to it.

Laura mustered up the boldness and courage, told him how his Claura cajored and hoodwinked her into the game, told him also how she debunked it and quarrels afterwards. Now that her true Claura had come back,he should please continue with her. She apologetically pulled out the engagement ring off her fingers,threw it at the innocent Alex,and ran away leaving him bewildered.

Claura crawled up to Alex maybe to explain but Alex pushed her off,ran to the direction that Laura followed.He cut up with her,held her and they both started sobbing. She was so confused not knowing the way out.Before him,are two beautiful sister he has madly falling in love with but now he had transferred the love to Laura.He turned backwards only to see Claura standing behind them.She knelt down in tears and apologizes to Alex to forgive him,accepting the blame.She encouraged him to continue with his sister Laura.After that,she went her separate way.

That was how Claura lost her God given man Alex to a game of chance and to her sister.
