33. Tun/Retreat — 63. Chi Chi/After Completion
The 33rd hexagram, Tun, speaks of retreat without abandonment. In boxing, this is referred to as “swimming without getting wet”. You’re to stay in the fight by not getting hit. Often times, considerable blows are landed from a fixed position and less effective in transient ones.
Today, the conditions favour an opposing force. Trading blow for blow with your opponent is not recommended. From a tactful, modest and grounded position, any offensive energy directed at you can be thwarted. This opposing force in your life is prodding you for information, and it knows not how to attack. By staying silent and pleasantly disarming, all efforts to disrupt you are ineffective.
The resulting hexagram, Chi Chi, reminds you that these dark forces are ever present. Without them, there would be no contrasting forces of light or even the incentive to remain conscious of the various energies that influence and affect our lives. In this case, the round might be done, but the fight is far from over. Stay alert.
Stay blessed always,
Lee
