Is it Any Good? Yes!
Most people who come to Sydney and explore the harbor head east, taking the Manly ferry. Now, that is one heck of a beautiful trip. But the journey out along the western side of the harbor produces some hidden gems. Try the trip from Barangaroo Wharf to Olympic Park Wharf at sunset and I promise you won't be disappointed.
The journey west takes about 50 minutes and all the ferries have an open deck area. Heading west at sunset will give you some great opportunities for photos with magical colors (make sure there are a few clouds around for even better effects.
Starting at Barangaroo wharf (or Circular Quay Wharf) look for the ferries heading to Olympic Park, Rydalmere, or Parramatta. There are great views of Darling Harbour as you leave the wharf. Barangaroo Wharf provides a direct connection to the newest business and dining area in Sydney.
Enjoy the photos!
