I am also from the Philippines and I know how supportive Filipinos are... Im so happy that you found a supportive betterhalf.. I always wish to make my future home atiny house with its own solar energy, i just thought of it as very hard to start as well as very expensive investment and to start here in the Philippines... I am looking forward to checking your startup videos to get more ideas.. My boyfriend has a 17-18 sqm vacant lot in Bulacan and we're planning to settledown in first quarter of 2018. Trying to live a minimal i would like to encourage him to build a tiny home than tonrent an apartment. I will defi itely follow u here upvoted and resteemed

Hi, sorry for the late reply. So many comments on this page. Fortunately my wife found a nice Filippino group nearby so she has people from home to talk to all the time.

I have often considered moving to the Philippines but the hurricanes and typhoons are the biggest problem I see with off grid living on solar power.

How do you tell if Filippino wife loves you or is in it for 'green card'??? You will find this out in another year or so. With 'anchor baby' born wife is secure here. In a few years you will be dumped, divorced and homeless cause she will get everything. Sucks to be you. Hahahahahahaha!

It's being use here in the Philippines already, i have searched they are using waterproof storm. Proof kinda solar thingy and offers 20yrs warranty (notsure if true)
No hurricanes in here, but yeah we have like 20++ thypoon in a year

Oh, that is good news. I had no idea they had solar panels for typhoon areas.
