It seems to me that success on steemit comes from a very simple formula.
- In the beginning, canvas the platform and see what others are doing.
- Interact and be polite.
- Put out content on a consistent basis.
- Respond to every single comment you receive.
- Put effort into your content.
- Lather, rinse, repeat.
Baaaaa.
Also, I agree. The best thing you can do as a new user is interact in a meaningful way while putting effort into your own stuff.
