For more detailed stories and descriptions check out my other posts. I have recently started blogging about my backpacking trips and will go into detail of all these places in the future. Links at the bottom of this post
I decided to do a post with pictures of various waterfalls and rapids that I have photographed over the last few years. I put a brief description of them as well.
This photo was taken in Red River Gorge.
This is Creation Falls. It's a small waterfall with a pool that you can go swimming in at the bottom.
This is Stonecoal Run. It marks the crossing point for Red Creek as you hike Red Creek Trail in The Dolly Sods Wilderness.
-Crossing Red Creek was a heck of a thing with having to carry my dog across.-
Dolly Sods is located in Monongahela National Forest. If you ever have a chance I highly recommend visiting the high meadows area.
As you hike uphill next to Stonecoal Run you can hear the water cascading down but unfortunately you can't see it through the trees. I did catch one little peek when we stopped for lunch.
These next pictures are from Sidecut Metropark in Maumee Ohio. These are part of the locks for the Erie-Wabash Canal which was part of the Erie Canal System. These locks were basically a side exit (Sidecut) from the canal.
These last pictures are from Nantahala National Forest. We went down there last August to watch the eclipse. I don't know the name of this creek but it was quite a nice hike.

There's so much detail captured in all these shots, it makes you feel like you're standing at the waterfalls and forests. Love the work you produce, keep it up!
Thanks. It's fun finding some of these on our trips.
No worries. I know what you mean, I always look for things I can take shots of when I go on trips. Quick question, how did you get so much exposure on your blog posts? I'm fairly new and trying to get my work out there into the community.
@upvotebank and @minnowsupport are a good start. The rest is advertising to be honest. Not everyone that votes for content actually read it. You can buy votes which then actually attracts real readers to the blog. I also post the link on Facebook and Twitter as well as a link on my Instagram.
If you want to buy votes to boost visibility checkout @Smartmarket and @minnowbot.
A lot of people who sell votes look at what they auto votes for so it helps build followers.
What a beautiful places are in the world 💕🌎
My favorites are ➡ The waterfall from Nathanala National Forest and Creation Falls, although the photos from Sidecut Metropark are also unique due to their more industrial character. Great photos and I bet an amazing memories that accompany them🔝 Thank you @waggy6! 👍👏
Please make sure to follow my blog. I will be posting plenty more.
I've already done it! Cheers 👋
