Hi #Steemitians,
Last #summer I was exhausted from my studies and complicated #life, so I decided to take a #break and nothing can be better than going to #hillstation, so I went to Kasol. To feel the nature I have to stay near it so i decided to stay in a #camp. There was another group from Delhi. As you know the temperature at night goes to -ve and it was very #cold. So we all gathered around a #bonfire and than i met a guy (Maansingh). Now am gonna share his story with you.

He is from Hanumangarh and its my native #place, So we were some how related to each other which we got to know there only. So he shared his #story with me as we both had same interest and were preparing for same exams. He already got selected in 8 exams because he was preparing from last 4 years and i didn't clear a single one as i was preparing from only 1 n half years. So it awaken the curious person in me so i asked him "How he managed to crack all 8 exams? where i didn't get selected in one".
He answered- " In 2008 he was in Kota preparing for IITJEE(as 1.3 million student per annum appear for this exam in India). He had a connection with his landlords daughter and some how her brother found about this. He (brother) came with his friends(gang) while Maansingh was going to his room after his class before he could leave her brother came and bashed him in front of all the students and warned him to stay away from his sister. Just after that he went to his room packed everything and left the place and went back to his hometown. He dropped his idea of cracking IITJEE he just simply opted for B.A. After completing his graduation he started preparing for Govt. exams. And he couldn't just forget what happened with him because of that he started drinking, later it became his habit. Luckily he got selected after several attempts. Right after that he called her and asked her to marry him, but she refused. After that he gave many other exams but couldn't succeed because he have lost his #motive to do anything. Then his(Maansing's) parents forcefully got him married(its common in India). After 2 years he got blessed with a #daughter and he named her after his ex-girlfriend. So again he got his motive back but in other form. He forgot everything what has happened with him in past and even got rid of his drinking #habit. Now He started from #beginning and started studying so much that he use to get his food in room itself and he finishes it in 5 mins and again get back to his studies. And the most touchy thing was he hanged his daughters picture just above his study table so that he would never forget his #motive. Later he appeared in his exam(after his daughter was born) and got 6th AIR(All India Rank) out of 3.5 million".
After listening to his #story i just asked him one thing "You did all this for your Daughter?"
He replied with a smile "She is just not my Daughter..."

You have a minor grammatical mistake in the following sentence:

Last #summer I was exhausted from my studies and complicated #life, so I decided to take a #break and nothing can be better then going to #hillstation, so I went to Kasol.
It should be better than instead of better then.

thanks for reminding. hope you enjoyed the story
