I can imagine that deep cold of a stone house! A while ago I lived in a sandstone house and it was coooold in winter!!
Now imagine a cold house and not wearing warm clothes. I had to go for tea, a sleeping bag draped over me and a hot water bottle.

And yeah, I have experienced a Winter or 4 here, struggling to get my house(s) and myself warm.
Then again, I like a good challenge and I don't have to deal with insanely inflated energy prices, like in The Netherlands.
I make do with gas bottles for warm water and cooking and firewood that sometimes comes for free.

Maybe in the Netherlands it's like here. I am paying double and a bit more than I used to for power. Which is shit. Were are all skint and have no money!
