RE: Climbing Out From The Swirling Vortex Of Despair

in #life7 years ago

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and feelings, especially your fears, with us. I am pretty familiar with the feeling of 'loneliness' while being not alone. In fact, I often feel less alone when I'm alone, haha.

To be honest, I think if you can master feeling not alone while being alone as well as realizing that thoughts and feelings are just that, thoughts and feelings, if you can stay in the moment instead of stressing out over the past or future (all stress is based on not being in the now), if you can love yourself no matter what, you have reached a point that most people never reach.

Anyhow, as long as we don't master this, sharing these thoughts and feelings with others, whether it's via steemit or other media outlets, is the best we can do: Let's express ourselves so we don't get depressed.

I know you weren't asking for advice here, but what is helping me lately, besides blogging and talking, is meditation, reading up on taoism, practicing mindfulness/ being in the now, creativity (always), spending time in nature and last but not least: music. This album in particular, recommended to me by a fellow Steemian, has had a pretty great impact on me: Blinkers Removed - Man of No Ego
