Excluding the NCAA college sports, the amount of Money an athlete makes a lot of times has little to do with their skill, but more so with mass adoption. Sports historically have been associated with masculinity, which is a huge reason why Softball isn't covered as much as baseball. I'm sure female athletes are just as skilled, but the world we live in just doesn't allow for that truth to be adopted widely.
