HITTING IT BIG IN YOUR 20's

Every 20 something year old can't wait to be 30,
they just don't know it yet. If you asked a 20
something year old what being in your 30's feels
like, they'd most definitely say, "It's depressing
when you've not made the most of being in your
20's. Like making some cool cash, having a house
by the beach, or riding an Aston Marton. Before I'm
30, I should be a made man."
O the dread, the grandeur, the orijin in their eyes. If
only they understood how quickly time flies before
they're 30. I remember being nineteen and having a
female friend who was twenty five. Each time she'd
tell me she was twenty five, I'd feel my heart
squeeze on her behalf. I couldn't help but stare at
her and think, "How can you be 25? And you're not
married? How come? My Mother married when she
was seventeen."
But o the dread, again. I guess I, too, thought I
would be married by 24, like my Father. See poor
old me now. And 30 is just waiting for me, lurking
around the corner. I know it can't wait to fuck me
up, and I'm scared. I'm scared of 30, because for
many years I had bullied 30, called 30 all sorts of
names, and now, in a couple of years time, 30 will
most gladly treat my fuck-up. 30 would be high on
orijin, and it would flog me so bad, I'd run back to 29. I'd probably get wheep-lashed: tawai tawai, for
making a mockery of 30 whilst in my 20's. My body
all bruised and mishandled with 30 shades of grey
brutalization.
Ok, I'm starting to loose the essence of this story. I
will never forget when Chris Brown was 15, that
time, my brother I would go tell it on the mountain,
over the hills and everywhere that I was just a year
older than C.B. I would tell everybody that if Chris
Brown could make it that young, my own
breakthrough was soon to be on its way. Coughs:
Ehem Ehem. Are we still having this conversation?
All I'm trying to say is this: Some professions take
time to blossom, and other times it's hardwork and
being a smart ass that'd make it happen now.
Regardless, in life, you gotta pay your dues. We
shouldn't be so in a rush to hit it big in our 20's.
Being 30 and rocking isn't as bad as you think. And
alotta people make it in their 30's. So, whilst you
strife to make your goals a reality, always
remember: if you no hammer for your 20's, e fit be
sey you go hammer for your 30's. Jeez, this last
line is the cheesiest line ever! I shoulda shut up.
P.S-- Soon To Be Deleted For It's Ridiculousness.
Sometimes, when my brain is too lazy to write, I try
my hands on something new. More like squeezing
the juices out.
