Good post. I don't even "meditate", although I am certainly familiar with that state of concentration. What I do is, if I'm not focused, then something distracts me, then I concentrate on the distraction until it disappears, and then I concentrate on what I had to do. I don't know if it's a good formula, although it works for me.

Yeah it is a kind of concentration and works for you, actually you are trying to meditate in your own way..
No matter what is it, if it has a result for you keep trying that way..
