We’re finally home! The last two days of our trip were relaxing but still somewhat stressful for me. We were concerned that @guthrie wouldn’t be seated next to @kommienezuspadt or myself on the flight home. So I took it upon myself to hang out on a busy phone line for over an hour.
I did occupy myself with a few games while I waited but the call dropped right after I got someone on the line. It was frustrating. The resort we stayed in while in Vegas was nice but there was little to no reception. I also had issue connecting to the internet so my time on Steemit was limited.
Our trip home this morning was perfect. We checked out quickly, our rental was brought back with little issues and we were seated in the same row on our plane. I enjoyed a movie that I downloaded on Netflix and we arrived home ten minutes before the credits rolled.
We walked into the house and I felt so much relief. It’s so nice to be back home! I missed the smell of our home and being surrounded by all of our pretty things. It was also a plus that I made sure to leave the house clean before we left.

What reminds me of home is the smell of it, fresh roses always in the entrance, the smell of diptyque tuberose candles I place everywhere, the white light bouncing off my white French furniture and the sounds of hens and pups playing in my backyard.
That sounds magical! Our home smells like old wood, probably from all of the picture frames. We’re so happy to be back home. :)

My last airplane flight was ALMOST a disaster! My phone was one 3% and I brought my charging cable on the plane with me to discover that the plane never had charging outlets. But the kind flight attendant let me use his portable charger for my phone! What a life saver! I wouldn't of had anything to do for the 4 hours of flight. I never brought any books and the plane never had a movie screen!

What an awesome flight attendant! There are times where I stare out the window on flights or try to nap. Watching movies is definitely a luxury now that we have such awesome technology.
I can never be able to get to sleep on planes. Maybe I should buy $50,000 plane ticket so I can take a nap and have a shower and all the free food I want. But we both know that wont happen lol!
Watching movies is definitely a plus just make sure you have your device charged!
I can so relate. I love travelling but sometimes theres just a nice relief and comfort in arriving back to your own home. Even better then there's nice presents waiting for you :)
I was so surprised by the gift. I’ve been so spoiled lately! I also love the feeling of crawling into my own bed, it’s way more comfortable.
Lately chaos feels like home :p If there arnt babies, dogs, or doors swinging open and closed im feeling a little lost 😂 On the opposite spectrum, a tent my book, and a journal feel like home :) glad you made it back! And with a package from a friend waiting for you!!
Hahah! I could image that with our dogs, they were both so sweet. I let them outside and they were barking and chasing the birds on the fence. I’m also very happy to be home! :)

They’re beautiful! I don’t always take the time to purchase beauty products so it was a pleasant surprise. Oh, and I agree with you, it’s like Christmas all over again!
