एकाग्रता कैसे साधें (How to concentrate)
हर इन्सान के पास मुख्य रूप से तीन तत्व रहते हैं - मन, वचन और काया । विचार-उच्चारण-आचरण । सोच के अनुसार ही आचरण और उच्चारण की स्थिति बनने लगती है । अत: अपने आचरण को बदलना है, तो अपने विचारों को बदलना होगा ।
जिसे हम एक बार भी ध्यान से, गहरे आकर्षण से सुन लेते हैं, पढ़ लेते हैं या देख लेते हैं, वह हमें जिंदगीभर याद रहता है । जैसे कोई व्यक्ति सिनेमा देखता है तो उसे देखने के दस साल बाद भी उसे उस सिनेमा के चित्र, संगीत एवं अभिनेताओं के नाम याद रहते हैं । जबकि आज स्कुल में जो पाठ पढ़ा है, वह आज ही याद नहीं रहता । ऐसा क्यों होता है ? कारण स्पष्ट है - हमारा उस पर लगाव, गहरा आकर्षण, एकाग्रता नहीं है । यदि सिनेमा के आकर्षण की तरह ही अध्धयन पर ही आकर्षण रखें, तो वह भी एक ही बार के पढ़ने से याद रह सकता है ।
लक्ष्य के प्रति गहरे लगाव के साथ संकल्प भी मजबूत होना चाहिए । वैज्ञानिक आइन्स्टीन कहते है कि गणित में आठ बार फेल हो गए थे, उसे स्कूल से निकाल दिया गया । अध्यापक, माता-पिता सभी ने उसे अपमानित किया । तब उसने संकल्प किया था कि जिसके कारण मेरा अपमान हो रहा है, मैं उसी में होशियार होकर बताऊंगा । बस, फिर क्या था ! आइन्स्टीन अपने दृढ़ संकल्प के साथ एकाग्रतापूर्वक पढ़ने लगा और एक दिन विश्व का माना हुआ गणितज्ञ हो गया । इसी प्रकार अब्राहम लिंकन अपने दृढ़ संकल्प के आधार पर अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति बन गए । एडिसन ने अनेक अविष्कार कर दिये । ऐसे एक नहीं अनेकों उदाहरण सामने है, जिन्होंने दृढ़ संकल्प, लगन और समर्पण के बल पर अपने लक्ष्य को पा ही लिया । भयंकर रोगों का इलाज भी संकल्प के बल से होने लगा है ।
कई व्यक्ति बड़े लोगों से बात करने में संकोच करते हैं, क्योंकि उनका आत्मविश्वास कमजोर होता है । यदि दृढ़ संकल्प के साथ व्यक्ति बात करे तो उसका सामने वाले पर निश्चित प्रभाव पड़ता है ।
एकाग्रता को साधने के लिए ध्यान करवाया जाता है । ध्यान के लिए समय चाहिए और निरंतर प्रयोग भी । तभी वह सध सकता है ।
