I realize you, despite how well you read and write English, probably find it much more difficult to understand the spoken words. Even if it's difficult, and you have to take it in little bits with lots of time to translate the bits, I am confident it will help and inspire you to better understand gravity and relativity. I realized some while ago that gravity wasn't a force at all. It's just the shape of spacetime in the presence of mass. How gravity effects the shape of spacetime remains beyond me, but such realization as I have attained much simplifies the very bizarre things that physicists tell us their calculations reveal.
I still don't think we know half the things we think we do about the universe, because, like Newton, we are tricked by math into thinking we understand things we have completely wrong. The radical difference between Newton's cosmology and Einsteinian illustrates how very small mathematical differences reveal monstrously huge misunderstanding of reality. The calculations of rocket trajectories and orbits are almost identical in their result, but why they attain their results is vastly different, and the relativistic calculations are orders of magnitude more difficult than the Newtonian. As a result, rocket scientists use Newton's math to calculate rocket trajectories and orbits, despite the fact that the cosmology is absolutely false, because the results are close enough for rocket science.
It's possible that the video from Veritasium will help you to make that leap in understanding, if you take the time to well understand what is said and the diagrams that accompany his statements. It helped me to understand different ways of conceiving of Einstein-Rosen Bridging, and some other things, like parallel universes, as well as why some physicists maintain such things cannot exist.
My take that we aren't designed to understand these scales of physics, that we don't even perceive spacetime as the one thing it is, is a balm to soothe us when we face such absurdities uncomprehendingly. I need that soothing because I can count to 21 with my pants down, and the math these physicists do might as well be magic spells to me.
I hope you are edified and come to a better understanding of the world we live in from Veritasium's video, and I might have contributed to that good end by bringing it to your awareness.
Thanks!
