The First Amendment prohibits the USG from censoring the speech of American civilians. This includes deliberate lies, much beyond merely being mistaken. This is why the enemedia can lie to their audiences without penalty. However, you might note the specific meaning of the words 'might', 'may', and 'could', as I use. These words do not convey certainty, but possibility. I do not claim these things are indeed fact, or definitely the case provably, but are potential, depending on the result of litigation, and I also state that I am not a lawyer (IANAL) and have no expertise to predict the outcome of the operation of US courts of law.
So, no, US courts do not impose, nor have any lawful power to, any sanction on free speech, not even speech that can be proved deliberately false.

The overlords have authority and status equal to that of the state. Therefore, the overlords control the freedom, rights, and property of individuals like me as they wish.

As a student of history you are well aware of the occasional spasms of violence necessary to rein in abusive government. From time to time psychopaths incapable of normal socialization impose intolerable oppressions, and their incapacity to understand the bonds of love and affection that cement civil society serially cause their forcible recusal and replacement. The neurological incompetence of psychopaths inevitably causes their excessive oppression, and today the technological advance of decentralization of means of production increasingly empowers individuals and society to escape the centralized power of institutional control. As the more vulnerable people perish of the democidal abuses being implemented, society will become less and less tolerant, and more and more competent to do something about it.
Eventually, the powermad will pay the price for their abuses, and power over society will be redistributed according to the ability of people to produce and accumulate wealth and power. As to books able to be published, this can be done in a variety of ways, including just printing and marketing them yourself, and that also enables such publishing to be as anonymous as you like.

Increasingly, people around the world I live in are claiming that America is beginning to decline and collapse.
The truth is that America is being destroyed from within, as always undercuts and leg sweeps empire across history. Sir John Bagot Glubb published an analysis of empires across history and showed they have a lifespan of ~250 years. The USA is 249 years old. Imperial collapse eventuates similarly, with feminism, degeneracy, and inflation attacking and destroying the pillars of society, undercutting and leg sweeping the supports of empire (family, community, and industry), imposing chaos and deconstruction.
This is not just beginning, but just ending America today.
