I have read this story and wanted to post it for steemians.
A blind boy was sitting on the steps of a building. He was holding a placard saying : “I am blind, please help.”
Only a few coins could be found in the hat that he kept infront of him. A man was passing by and donated a few coins.
He took the placard and wrote something on the other side.He put it back at the same place. Every one who walked by saw the placard and soon the hat began to fill very fast. Many people were donating.
In the afternoon the man who wrote on the placard came back to see how things were. The boy could recognize footsteps and enquired, “Are you the one who wrote on my placard? What did you write?
The man said, I only wrote the truth. I wrote what you said in a different way. “Today is a beautiful day but I cannot see it.”
Both sentences told people that the boy was blind. The first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people that they were so lucky that they were not blind.
Do we need to be surprised that the second sign was more effective? Yes...
The point here is be creative, Think different and positively.
