The pain is still to fresh so Im sorry I couldn't read all of your story, but yes Abby was my baby girl/daughter. I had her for 9 years (in September) and yes she never left my side on walks.

She will always be with you.
If you can get her ashes and put it in a pendant, take her with you.
Don't be saddened. You will see Abby again, but until then you must live strong. And make Abby proud, by serving other dogs in this fcked up world who needs saving.
She is dead and buried and it cost to much for cremation not to mention I didn't feel like riding for a day with my girl dead. Besides how traumatized would that make my other dog?
