What we usally call lipid is fat, I we always avoid overtake of it in order to make us fat. In fact this isn't a correct thought. First thing I've to tell is although fat has thw highest energy value above all of the food substance, but it isn't the criminal who make us fat.
To increase our weight, the requirements are the energy intake of our body is larger than the energy output of our body. In converse, losing our weight requires the energy input smaller than energy output. Intake of energy comes form the food we ate and the output of energy comes from our body metabolic reaction and how much do we move. So actully exercise dp help us lose weight, and it depends on how much you do, also your diet.
Why does the above method works?
I can tell you that pur body is so amazing that it have a system to use our energy wisely. It will fisrt consume the sugar we stored in our muscles and liver in the form of glycogen. After or stored sugar are used up then we will use our fat, afterwards it break down our protein to support our live.
Then now I will tell about the components of food and how it helpa our body.
The fat we contain are called as lipid and it is made up of 1 glycerol and 3 fatty acid, our body can secrete enzymes to break it down to it's simplest form for absorption. Except thinking of lipid will make me fat, it actully have a major role to support our body.
First, it will form phospholipid. This is the cell membrane of all cells, so we can say that with out lipid the the most basic form of cell can't form, so do our lives.
Second, it act as a shock absorber. It was stored besides of the main organ such as the heart, lungs and liver. Force outside from our body we someone punch us or falling to ground will be absorbed by fat, so as to reduce damage to our body organs
Last but not least it prevents heat lost. Fat are stored all around our body to keep us warm so we can remain a steady body temperature for metabolic reactions. Boys usally have more fat stored in our trunk and girla usally have a more average diverge of fat all over the body.
