Few things in life can make an adult move quicker than a wild child running loose with a Sharpie Marker. Good news! So, the next time your Mini-Michelangelo goes rogue, these tips might help.

CLOTHING: Use Hand Sanitizer

WALLS: Use Use Hairspray or Toothpaste

WOOD: Use Rubbing Alcohol

CARPET: Use White Vinegar

FURNITURE: Use Milk

WHITE BOARD: Use Dry Erase Marker or Pencil Rubber Eraser

CERAMIC OR GLASS: Use 1 Part Toothpaste with 1 Part Baking Soda

And I saved the best for last. Sure, your house rule may be no tats allowed until age 18, BUT still our little munchkins seem bent on self-expressive body art.

SKIN: Use Rubbing Alcohol

It works like magic, couple wipes and it is GONE. No sore arms, no scrubbing…. AMAZING!

The FASTER you use the alcohol the better. Get to 'em quick parents. The longer the Sharpie sits on the skin the harder it is to get off.

HOPE THESE HELP!

These are a big help! We never did remove the sharpie art from some of our furniture- never could figure how to get the darn stuff off. Thank you for the tips @tlester!

Just getting you prepped the houseful of babies you're going to have someday @lydon.sipe!

Haha, yes!

it is very difficult to remove Permanent Marker on the wall or any other thing.

True that.

Neat! Thanks for the tip

Thanks for stopping by @flasko!

Great advise. Another tip: To remove permanent marker on metal just trace over the mark with a permanent marker. The wet marker activates the dry marker and you can wipe it off with a wet towel. It may take a few applications to get it completely removed, but it does work.

Wow! Thanks @boonedocknc! Smart guy! :)

Great advice! I'll keep that in mind the next time my boys decide their wall will look better with a dinosaur on it 🐲

Ah...prehistoric art is self-expression at its best @steemparents! Thanks for stopping by!

@tlester, with 5 kiddos in the house (10 years old and younger) posts like this have very practical application.
