Great paradigm, the one of the social networks! In the beginning, the same thing happened to me. I constantly hoped for the approval of others by taking a photo. I have the lucky to said, that is past and practically nor use facebook, twitter or instagram. I realized how stupid I was, to feel valued and with a growing self-esteem if my profile picture had many likes or not.

Worst of all is that now the politicians are making use of it. And they invade this medium with propaganda, ads and criticism. At least in my country, the ruling party's main means of diffusion is facebook and twitter.

The only thing I rescue are the reminders of birthdays since I'm a very distracted guy and I always forget. That function has saved my life practically.
