Dear reader:

Spend enough time doing anything and you will see it all. So I am at two weeks and a day on steemit. I am gaining in followers and having a blast, it feels really good to write about my interests. See I have not been able to until now to actually type my thoughts out. I am a talker, I like to talk to people face to face, and have a discussion, engaging the topics that come up. Now I'm typing out what I want to say to an audience 200,000+ deep. I have had to learn real quick how to make that happen, and just learning this skill and getting better every day is exciting. This shit brings me joy! I can see myself doing this for long time to come, and all the ideas I have to bring some value to this place and myself, WOW. The list of things to do, and posts to make just keeps growing and growing.

I find that majority of the individuals here on steemit are pleasant and compassionate. This alone makes this, the social media platform for me. I believe I can actually do quite a bit of good here on steemit. With all that said, there are some, that are an arrogant sort. The rock stars of steemit. These are the ones I hope to avoid in the future, I want no part of their arrogance, and egos. These ones will stab you in the back, and run over you with their car! Run forest run! Now humility is my normal, it is the state that brings me the most happiness in my life. When I am humble I listen better, and learn more. Boy do I have allot to learn still in this world, that is not to say I don't have confidence in my knowledge base, just that if one stays humble the higher the probability you will learn more about everything!

This site seems to have a very P.C. side to it as well, which I do not care for. There is a difference between debating your point of view and just being a troll, or close minded ignorant fool! I believe that many here are afraid to be flagged, so in turn it creates a wonderful world of P.C.(politically correct). I can only hope I am wrong, but usually when people have the power to hurt someone when they disagree with them, they tend to use that power. Human nature (101), survival of the fittest. I am still new here so I might be wrong, again I hope I am. Plus I still don't really know how the flagging of an individual works just yet. I have not had a reason to even consider using the flag, let alone do it. As for myself I am naturally polite when communicating with someone, so I don't see myself getting flagged for being rude. It is having a difference of opinion that I see myself getting flagged. I do understand why it exists, it's intended purpose is to direct the content. It is to weed out shit we as a community don't want to have on this site. Now I can be very outspoken about my views, and I always have the intent to just simply express them. My views that is, and I do not intend to push them on to anyone. Basically all I want to do is just stick up for my viewpoint. But like I said, give a person a bow and arrow and they will find something to shoot at!

Well that is enough talking or typing for one day. I shall take my leave of you wonderful people for now. I will be back tomorrow, to put my 2 bits in once again. Good night sweet dreams, and may they all come true!!! STEEM ON!
