It is the weekend now! Well, almost... kind of, which does depend on what it is you do during the week. Anyhowz, I do my best to throw up a cute adorable penguin picture from my recent time working, trekking and loving life on the bottom of the world, which is also known as Antarctica.
These two little guys are Adelie penguins! You may notice that one is in fact on its belly and sliding along, whilst his traveling companion is waddling in their usual adorable manner. Why do they not all slide? It seems like it would be easier and faster for them to do so... They don't really - from my observations they will prefer to walk/waddle around then lie down and slide, whilst using their feet for propulsion. Especially, when they are descending on a steep cliff covered in snow. Instead of sliding down, as I am sure most people would love to do because it would be an insane amount of fun. They do their best to stay upright and carefully ensuring each step is well thought through prior to placing it on the snow.
honestly, though they are still too damn cute, so I reckon they can do what they want...
