According to the Japanese, eating healthy means "eating the 8 colors of the rainbow".
Longevity seems to be the buzzword of Health these days, and for good reason. As Westerners, we want to know what centenarians do to increase their life expectancy. The following tips are from the centenarians around the world who have found the fountain of youth very close to their home.

Stay active: Staying active is as important as having good eating habits, but it is not the kind of intense activity we are used to these days in gyms. It can be just doing some stretching, walking, lifting weights of 1 kilo, but 2 or 3 times a week. And there is no age for it. Centenarians know how good it is. Again we have a lot to learn from Japan. I've been last August in Japan and I was once more amazed by such quantity of old people biking, walking around, and workers starting their working day by exercising. Exercising is the best way to help you feel better.
In addition to eating habits and moderate exercise, having a life purpose comes first in the list of longevity. Centenarians are happy people who have reasons to get up in the morning. Feeling good about yourself, and staying away from stress is essential.
