That is a wonderful spot for reading a book. Maybe not for long, it doesn't look super comfortable. But a little bit of reading and some people watching - that's what I imagine. Also it looks like this picture was taken in the fall, which is a wonderful time of year for walking. Crunching dry leaves under your feet is... well there's nothing like it.
