Thanks to DTube and Steemit we managed to raise $350 to use on a local school here in the Philippines.
It meant that we could organise a party for the kids, buy them new school supplies and contribute to building a home economics centre for the kids to learn vocational skills.
The money came purely from SBD and STEEM and just shows the power of good that Steemit could do, with a real-world application that will make a difference to some less fortunate people's lives.
I plan to do a lot more of these projects in the future and can't wait to see where this goes.
For donations to the project, please send SBD or STEEM to my account with a memo and I will make sure it goes to the project in full.
