RE: God Will Never Withdraw His Attention From You!

in #life7 years ago

I appreciate your sentiments again, but John 9:31, Pslam 66:18, Proverb 28:9, 1 Peter 3:12, Isaiah 59:2 all offer contrary interpretations. A prayer of a righteous man, indeed, is heard and blessed. But there are many things that will hinder our prayers to the Lord God Almighty.

Sort:

John 14:13-14 "Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. "If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.

Matthew 21:22 "And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."

John 16:24 "Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.

John 14:14 "If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.

1 John 5:14 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

John 14:13 "Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

John 15:16 "You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.

John 20:31 but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.

John 16:23-24 "in that day you will not question Me about anything Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. "Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.

John 15:7 "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

I don't know what you are talking about but you can make a choice of believing in what Jesus say or whatever whoever is saying! If you still argue with these words of our Lord and Savior then I have no answer for you!

Pastor, I think we're arguing two very different things. I am saying God will not listen to all prayers, and you are saying He hears all prayers.
The Word is clear that the Lord will answer and fulfill prayers that are made in His Will and by a righteous heart. However it is equally clear that the prayer of an unrepentant heart will not be heard by the Lord and that our prayers are hindered by our sins.
If we simply peach one part of that, I think it's not laying out the need for salvation and sanctification to those not yet saved.

I gave you over 10 and Jesus never said if they're in God's will He will answer; if they're not He will not answer your prayer... Show me where it's said that God will answer if it's in His will... Please
I showed you that Jesus never said that. Do not add what's not written

Okay... I provided 5 verses/passages that state the Lord may turn his ear from an unrighteous prayer. Did you read them? Please don't accuse me of blasphemy, when your own eyes can't see what's plainly written in the Bible.

Praying in Jesus name is the same thing as praying according to the will of God. Believing is having faith in prayer. Abiding in the Word of God is righteous living.

I am really sorry that you can take time to read. I thought you like reading but unfortunately it's not the case. I did read everything you provided. I want you to prove that Jesus is wrong not me ... I shared every texts where Jesus speak about prayer and He NEVER said what you say. and whatever prophet in the Old testament talking, I will repeat I trust more and will always do the words of Jesus Christ! so, keep what you are trying to prove... It's Jesus I presented not me... PROVE HIM WRONG

God was speaking through the OT prophets and NT apostles. I'm sorry you don't acknowledge God's inspired, infallible Word.

The God we are talking about came in flesh and blood [Matt 1:24]... Do you acknowledge Him?
You will need to make a choice between Jesus and all the OT books you are quoting ...

I hope you can come to an understanding of what I'm trying to say, because I don't think you grasp exactly what I mean. It's not contrary to what you're saying.

If you look very well, I didn't had anything to the words of Jesus Christ.
I left you with His words about prayer! I get your point but that's not what JESUS teaches concerning the matter...
