That's they way I look at it. Plus I worked with guy once who's dad killed himself when he was 11 year old and he just wasn't right. Needed validation constantly and just did things to act like a big tough guy but was just a hurting little boy inside.

I just think that my children depend on me wayyy too much. Their father isn’t very involved in their lives. He’s not very nurturing. I just can’t imagine my children going day to day life without me.
My father was there, but he was only my stepmothers henchman and did whatever she told him to do. She went through some horrible things as a child and I don't blame her for the horrible things she did to me because I now know what happened to her.
Sometimes we don’t understand things when we don’t know all the facts. :(
6 years old is a pretty young age to have the ability to understand the adult mentally abusing you is troubled.
That’s difficult to understand at any age, especially at 6.
