I agree. It was one of the reasons why I wrote it.
Perhaps blockchain technology can help restore this in some way.
As we see here on Steemit , the concept of "reputation" is coming back.
In the old days this is what partly kept us "straight", as my grandmother often said.
Nowadays, politicians and bankers etc just seem to lie as a matter of fact. I think it is because they do not care or believe there are any consequences to their lies and deceit.
If we are to ever get our world back, we need to restore our integrity.
I think entities like Steemit are helping in some way with this battle.
