Luckily he grew out of it.
I'm glad to announce that he has successfully passed through the "attitude" phase and now I'm maybe kinda, sorta, almost maybe starting to know a few things that he finds useful. ;-)
Congratulations!!!! You are very lucky. I am trying to prepare... although I know one can never truly prepare.
The difficult part has been letting them make mistakes while keeping tabs on them enough to prevent the huge, horrible mistakes.
Even if she doesn't display it all the time, now you know that your daughter looks to you when she's scared.
That's a real milestone.
