RE: Monsanto & Bayer Part 1: Genetically Modified Disaster

in #life7 years ago

You are fortunate. Here in Spain there are many crops of which there are no longer ecological seeds to plant like corn for example. Still among family and friends we still have seeds for small crops of potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuces, beans and peppers.
My family and I are starting an ecological pistachio plantation and we have had to leave some land without planting to avoid pesticide contamination of farmers who have their crops very close to our land.
In a few days I will introduce our beloved little trees to the steem community.

Sounds unfortunate teks, you should be the renegade organic seed dealer on Steemit!

Hehehe. I think that all of us who are trying to make our organic crops must try to make farmers in our respective regions of the world use seeds that are not genetically modified. As well as training and informing our neighbors about the use of pesticides. This will allow new eco-farmers to grow their crops without the risk of being contaminated by the use of chemical agents in the vicinity of their crops.
We have hard work ahead but for the sake of the human species and its health we have to move forward.
