You are so wise to explore what you want in life and work toward that . I have lived in a number of places in the USA and abroad and I loved learning about the different places and cultures. It would probably be wise to take baby steps and live in another part of your country for a bit before living abroad. It is great to travel while you are young and particularly if you have someone traveling with you and you can come back home whenever you want. Being homesick happens to most-only in different degrees. Having said all this I would not take anything for having lived in many different places. All the best to you in your adventures.
