Victim Of The System

Unplanned change and uncontrolled change. The greatest fear and concern right now is losing a job. Financially insecure. People selling their homes, cars and their things in a gated community. Do you know a poor man doesn’t know, when the rich man says, “They have a crisis.” Poor people have no money. It’s the rich people that have money and they hurt the most. To check our concept of jobs; this is where the problem lies. Our economic psychology has made us dependent on jobs, and this has become our curse. A job is really an opportunity that others offer us. They can always take it back. If we build our life on someone else’s offer, then we are as safe as they feel at that time. They can always change how they feel any time and withdraw the offer. That’s why we can’t build our life on a job.

Crisis or change initiates new concepts (ideas). Crisis or change renews our visions, and it cancels experience. When a change (crisis) comes, our experience becomes useless. The most silent voices today are the economist. They are not saying nothing right now. For the last ten years, they have said nothing and made no recommendations. Every principle that they had been taught in school have been canceled. The economy that is now exists never existed before. They never saw a country or state become bankrupt. They never saw a government failed before. What do we do, when nothing we have learned is working. A crisis or change comes to cancel that. They say, “Experience is the best teacher.” Well, it’s not always true because it can be our worst enemy. If we have experience of doing something a certain way, then the environment changed, our experience becomes our enemy. Like, if we have experience in banking and if they are not hiring, then we have to learn a new set of skills. Our experience is destroyed by crisis. We are hooked on our experience, we wait, until we find someone who can use our experience and there’s nothing, who wants our experience. We almost have to retool ourselves. We have to re-learn and learn new skills because life has a way of shaking things loose.

Jesus was a temporary carpenter, but He always knew He was the Savior of the world. (Mark 6:3, 1 John 4:14) However, the period of time, He had to get a job, but that was not His work (becoming Himself). Crisis manifest and express, if we are a true leader and a true leader will do anything, like a carpenter, until it’s time to become a savior. Our job doesn’t define us. We are bigger than the job we have. So, enjoy it, while we are passing through that job. In other words, our job is not our destiny, it’s a temporary location for us to learn and they are paying us, while we are on our way to greatness. Never despise a job. Crisis or change demands innovative thinking. It makes us think in ways we never thought of before. Become innovative! God bless you!
