Russians are well known throughout the world as a studious and polite nation. In 2008, a survey was conducted in Russia and it found that 54 percent people read books honestly; 40 percent of people buy books regularly; 70 percent of the households have private libraries. Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Gorky, Pushkin, Turgenev, Boris Pasternak, Mikhail Bakhtin many more Russians writer are famous for their literatures.
Thousands of people have books on long bus or train journey even some people reading a book standing on the local bus. It is a common scenario of Russian peoples. There is a 'myth' in Russian society and it is the 'most booklover’ in the world who live in Russia'. There will be at least a book with the Tiffin, water and umbrella in the office bag. We should take this habit of reading is to understand life, to celebrate life nicely.
