Above is a video I made of me explaining how I relate life to an investment. Here is a picture:
As you can see, time is spent on good/bad value and the value that time is exchanged for gives us a certain quality of life. Good values bring you a good Quality of Life (QOL) and bad values attract a bad quality of life. Remember that time is non-refundable, therefore whatever you "buy" with your time took a small or big portion of your life that you will NEVER get back.
Examples of Good/Bad quality of life:
Good: Ethical, Honest, Kind, Productive, Manner, Good Attitude, Neat, Clean, etc. = Good QOL
Bad: Not trustworthy, Lazy, Mean, Bad Attitude, Sloppy, Careless, Inconsiderate, etc. = Poor QOL
Now the next time you just "kill" time think about how you spend your time and if it matches your quality of life. You'll thank me later :)
Excellent
