Dignity of labour

in #life7 years ago

At every point in our life, we need one person or the other. There is no one that is complete, the one that is independent who requires no assistance from others. The cosmos has been designed in a way that every element has its function.Every creature is dependent on one or the other. For instance, the plants require sun and rain to grow. The rain needs sun to function. The sun must pay obeisance to the night for moon to function.
In other hands, humans, the primate needs humans in carrying out different functions. The universe is based on law of reciprocity, haveing known this, it is imperative to understand the importance of everyone in the quest for survival. Power is the ability to do work. Therefore, work requires exertion of power.
Oxford advanced learner's dictionary defines labour as work especially physical work. This may come in myriad form such as building, teaching, sweeping, cooking, singing, dancing even as cheap as talking (what about the comedians). Irrespective of your occupation in terms of labour exertion, no occupation is superior. No occupation can stand alone, all works are intertwined.
For instance, a bank would need a farmer for farm produce which is source of food to him. A medical doctor would need teachers to teach his children. An organization or company would a cleaner, security guard as part of their team.
How ever, the fustamability of any enterprise is solely depend on the respect one gives his or her workers (labours). Everyone is important. No work is superior. 1500891103315388541670.jpg
