Hello, Steemit Friends,
I came across an illuminating statement from this book i am reading. I want to share this with you all as something to think about as a reminder. :)
“Because they take themselves lightly, angels can fly”.
One see so many faces dulled by a seriousness which if it were born of grief, would be understandable. But the kind of seriousness which drags man down to the earth and kills the life of the spirit is not the child of sorrow but of a sort of playacting in which the player is deceived into identifying himself with his parts. Man suffer only because he takes seriously what the gods made for fun. There’s a seriousness...even the play of child, for the children is aware that it is only playing for fun. This seriousness becomes a vice in the adult, because he makes a religion out of the game, so identifying himself with his part or position in life that he fears to lose it.
This is especially so when the unenlightenment man attains to any degree of responsibility, he develops a heaviness of touch, lack of abandon,a stiffness which indicates that he is using his dignity as stilts to keep his head above adversity. His trouble is that instead of “playing” his part, his part plays him....
See life as a musician, be a creator with delight in the fashioning of rhythms and melody. To play with it is therefore not a duty but a joy and he who does not see it as a joy can neither do it nor understand it.

Much Love, Suzana <3
I really appreciate this perspective. It's so damn true. I've been creating a lot of videos lately and I have noticed that when I don't approach them from a place of joy and laughter, I tend to feel them as a burden and really struggle with what I'm creating. The more I lighten up and ultimately say "screw it I'm just gonna get weird!" are the times when my content shines (and people respond).
Thanks for the reminder here @suerisue. Btw, you AND the pool are gorgeous!
Would love to hear your thoughts about one of my latest videos: How To NOT Feel Like S#*$ In the Morning [PART I]. I had a ton of fun making it ;-)

Insightful piece - The opening quote is stellar! I had a spiritual epiphany about 15 months ago and now am fortunate to be able to communicate with the spiritual realm. They often tell me to feed my happy and just be! We are not put here to suffer and struggle but we are all rather fab at self sabotaging! I an new here on Steemit, An artist/writer/lightworker I intend to share my creative work and path to enlightenment in the hope of, as you are doing, inspiring others. I have upvoted and followed and invite you to pass by mine. With love always xox
